Tips to Help Your Child Mirror the Characteristics of Jesus Lee Ann Mancini

Most children begin to understand abstract concepts around the age of five!

I believe babies should be dedicated to the Lord during infant baptism and baptized again when they fully understand their baptism’s meanings. Then, every year, celebrate the day they were baptized. After all, that is the day that symbolizes their birth into eternal life.

Teach your child to rebuke the devil in the name of Jesus. Children instructed and motivated in their hearts to follow Jesus have parents who pray with them, go to church with them, and read the Bible with them often. It is important to teach your children that having a relationship with Jesus is more important than all other relationships!

Also, it is vital to understand that it is not faith that saves, “it is not even faith in Christ that saves but Christ that saves through faith.”

Remember, when it comes to instilling biblical doctrines to the next generation, the most important factor and influence on children is the faithful relationship the parents had with them, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

Hopefully, the ideas discussed in this episode will help you live out doctrinal principles that will help indoctrinate your child to have the characteristics of Jesus!
