The Bible warns us in Ephesians 6:4, “Do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the lord.
There are many ways you may be provoking your children without knowing the harmful effects it could have on them in the future.
Some examples of provoking our children:
- When our demands are arbitrary or unfair.
- When we expect them to be good all the time.
- When we are hypocritical by punishing them for something that we do as well.
It is important to be aware of how often we may be provoking our children and choose a more positive approach when disciplining. Throughout this episode, Lee Ann discusses over 20 ways you may be exasperating your children.
