Lisa Miller, Ph.D., is the New York Times bestselling author of The Spiritual Child: The New Science on Parenting for Health and Lifelong Thriving and The Awakened Brain: The New Science of Spirituality and our Quest for an Inspired Life. Dr. Miller graduated from Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania and is a professor in the Clinical Psychology Program at Teachers College Columbia University. She is also the Founder and Director of the Spirituality Mind Body Institute, which is the first Ivy League graduate program and research institute in spirituality and psychology. Dr. Miller speaks and consults around her two books for the US Military, faith-based organizations, universities, and for mental health and wellness initiatives.
