These teenagers don’t have cell phones!
Arlene Pellicane is an author, speaker, and podcast host of the Happy Home podcast. She has written several books, including Parents Rising, 31 Days to a Happy Husband, and Screen Kids. Arlene has been featured on the Today Show, Fox & Friends, the Wall Street Journal, and Focus on the Family.
She has taken her book, Screen Kids, which explains what screen is doing to the brain and the negative effects of social media and video games, and has created a short film that’s ideal for small groups, churches, schools, or at home. In the video, Arlene’s children, Ethan, Noelle, and Lucy, include their thoughts as teenagers without phones.
Arlene will discuss these questions:
- How are media devices a deterrent for children to build a strong foundation in Christ? Where do you see a problem or a disconnect?
- What new methods, information, or guidance can you share to empower or equip all who are raising the next generation to help their children use media devices to help them gain biblical knowledge and understanding?
- What material can you share with the audience – specifying how it will help raise the next generation of strong Christians?
