Ordinary Becomes Extraordinary

Ordinary Becomes Extraordinary

Ordinary Becomes Extraordinary Lee Ann Mancini

One day you will look around your quiet, clean home and miss seeing little ones running around, hugging your leg, and giving you butterfly kisses!

It’s hard being a parent. Some parents do the same thing day in and day out. Maybe you used to have a fulfilled career, enjoyed volunteering, or simply loved being a wife taking care of her husband. Then, life turned upside down and inside out once your little bundle of joy was born. But is your baby a bundle of joy? Somedays, yes, but most days, you might find it hard to find the joy as you wash 10 thousand dishes, 20 thousand diapers, cook 5 thousand meals, and hope to find the time to take a bath or a shower.

I don’t mean to paint a bleak picture. You may find parenting to be exciting, engaging, and fun, and it is! But you may be thinking, “when is it ever going to change?” Believe me, it will. Your home is a training facility – boot camp – for the next generation of warriors for the Kingdom. You may feel that no one is watching or appreciates the hard work of parenting, but God is. He will bless you for being faithful in the ordinary days, leading to exceptional days in the future. When you see your child making a difference in the world for the Kingdom on earth, you will know it was all worth it.

If we do the best we can on ordinary days, God will bring us the extraordinary.

God did this for the parents of Billy Graham, who was one of the most influential preachers that walked the earth. He was raised on the family’s dairy farm and credited his mother for encouraging his spiritual journey. And out of this environment came a man who changed the world – Billy Graham.

Get a cup of coffee, take about ten minutes to recharge your batteries, and equip your mind so you can raise warriors for Christ that will stand firm in the face of evil! Occasionally, we will be giving away free books – so stay tuned! My team and I are here to serve you all for the glory of our Lord!
