This year, did you know that only 6% of Americans were said to have a true and pure biblical worldview?
As we raise the next generation, we should ensure we feed them the truth and help them to understand the Lord’s Prayer. Then, after our children understand the Lord’s prayer, we can incorporate it in our worship time at home as a family.
The Lord’s Prayer includes seven petitions, which is also the number of days it took God to complete the world. In the first three petitions, we Praise God, and in the last four, we offer praise (worship) to God.
Lee Ann expounds on these seven petitions in this episode:
- “Hallowed be your name”
- “Your kingdom come”
- “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”
- “Give us this day our daily bread”
- “And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors”
- “Lead us not into temptation”
- “Deliver us from evil”
