Can You See Your Actions in Your Child’s Behavior? Lee Ann Mancini

Children learn by observing their environment.  Are our children’s behaviors mirrors of ours?

Young children love repetition, and it is essential to repeat biblical words and phrases all day long. This will help your child to not only verbalize but also to one day understand the biblical application.

Your behavior and speech will reflect your belief. Gossip and foul language are tools of the devil. God’s word says life and death are in the power of the tongue, and you shall eat its fruit.

It is important to realize that children need opportunities to engage in contemplative thoughts. Enroll them in a preschool that reflects the love of Jesus and offers visual, auditory, kinesthetic (engaging in movement), social, and solitary opportunities for learning. When reading a biblical story to a toddler or preschooler, be expressive, and use props.

My children’s book series, Sea Kids, is featured on a free app called Novel Effect. In addition to being a book series, Sea Kids is also an animation series. Both help transform the heart and mind of every child as they learn how to tangibly live out the biblical principles being taught while building a strong foundation in Jesus.

Instead of gossiping about an individual who offended you, go directly to God in prayer. God will give you a better perspective on the situation, and you will feel peace instead of the need to vent to others.

Let our thoughts be of Christ, let our words be his words that we speak, let our actions do his work, let our habits be in line with his will, let our character reflect Jesus who dwells within us, and let our destiny be forever with him on earth as it will be in heaven.
